FIJI’s ultra-luxurious resort, Vatuvara Private Islands, has become the latest sponsor for the Fiji Performing Rights Association Music Awards.
The Private Islands is owned by Jim Jannard, the billionaire founder of Oakley and RED Digital Camera, a leading manufacturer of professional digital cinema cameras in the US. It was listed as the world’s most expensive after it was listed for $75million in 2006.
“Being a high-end luxurious resort, authenticity and originality is what we’re all about,” says Krystel Gough the assistant manager for Vatuvara Private Islands. “Our clients are mostly millionaires and when they come to Fiji they want the see the real Fiji.”
The resort will sponsor the Best English Composition category.
